openSUSE Education Repositories
The openSUSE-Education Team creates an third-party repository available for openSUSE. It contains many packages that aren't in the openSUSE version; either because the distribution contains an older version, or simply because it was never packaged for the distribution release.
This is the repository contains software for educational usage. You can find an overview of available packages including a short description in the openSUSE-Wiki.
Adding the openSUSE-Education Repository
For adding the openSUSE-Education repository, see Repositories.
Updates
For version 1.0 of openSUSE-Education, there are no official updates planned. But all packages are build in the openSUSE Build Service, so you can update a single set of packages from the Buildservice repository.
For the upcomming version 2.0 the openSUSE-Education community plans to provide a normal update channel like openSUSE does already.
Mirrors
The openSUSE-Education Repository currently has no mirrors. But it's planned to have some in the near future.
